Annual “Re-boot” January 8, 2014

Folks,

Traditionally in January, we start our “re-boot for the new year.”  In the next few weeks, we will tackle the very basics of computer usage.  However, due to the recent weather and poor travel conditions, I plan to start this on the 16th.

Many folks received computer devices for the holidays.  Many folks need help with the devices they got over the holidays.  I have a few tips.  Everyone is welcome; no question is too basic.

We will start with “mouse-ology” during the first part of this meeting.  Please encourage your family and friends to join us.

In line with my personal policy of having a meeting every week the library is open, I will either be there or in the ditch on my way there.  We will be meeting this Thursday, January 9 with a more traditional format.  I already have a request to talk about Chrome as an alternate browser to Internet Explorer.  If you can travel safely, I look forward to seeing you.

I hope you will join us at the Portage District Library each and every Thursday from 10 am until noon.  Our club is free and open to the public.  And meets in a downstairs meeting room.

You can visit our website at http://www.pcugmi.org

Cheers,
Rob Gray
